LRT Work to Trigger Traffic Diversions at Cawang-Dukuh Atas

To smoothen LRT box girder mobilization, a local traffic diversion will be applied from Cawang-Dukuh Atas on the south side of Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto until Jalan MT Haryono, South Jakarta.

Its mobilization is divided into two segments. First is from Pancoran towards Ciliwung area on March 23-24 and second is in Halim area on March 25-26.

"This project starts at 11 PM until 4 AM. That means, we'll apply close-open system and traffic diversion," said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Sigit Wijatmoko, Sunday (3/24).

MRT and LRT Fares must Be Studied Deeply

During Pancoran junction closure, vehicles coming from Tebet towards Kuningan or Semanggi will be rerouted to Jalan Casablanca-Jalan HR Rasuna Said.

"From Pasar Minggu, vehicles will be directed to Jalan Duren Tiga Raya towards Jalan Mampang Prapatan," he stated

Then vehicles from Halim and Cililitan towards Kuningan or Semanggi, will be rerouted to Jalan Otto Iskandardinata-Jalan KH Abdullah Syafi'i-Casablanca or Cililitan-Kalibata.

From Kampung Melayu towards Semanggi, vehicles will be rerouted to Jalan KH Abdullah Syafi'i-Jalan Casablanca.

"We urge them to obey the traffic signs and instructions from officers, as well as prioritize road safety," he stressed.
